Thanks Brian, the number is correct (new cell C number).
I just phoned Neville, and he confirmed that he has already modified a NC700 exhaust. Apparently he removes the inner part of the original exhaust, and then changes it to become a "competition exhaust". His price for a mod like this is R1000.00.
Neville finds himself at the Bluff (Durban area), and anyone who might be interested can contact him at his cell number. (061 1279875)

I have seen quiet a few of neville's jobs and he is good there is no doubt about that the man is skilled. I guess the reason I chose to rather see Krish is last when I did go to Neville with my cruiser, we made an agreement and he would make up the first stage and call me to come for a first fitting to make sure everything lined up, and he never phoned me back. There could be many reasons for this, he could have lost my number who knows. I felt a bit uncomfortable at the time and just walked away. This was just my personal thing, I have never heard any negative comments about Neville from any other biker.
Hi Eco, (please can you remind me what your name is, I forget)That's an interesting idea, customising the current system. I am having Krish make a new can 100mm diameter, round, with a retro reverse cone end, a bit louder but not too much (R2000). I don't like that short stumpy end pipe look that my last scooter had, it was ok on the Burgman but I don't want it on the Integra. I have no idea how this will affect the performance but I want to be able to reverse the process back to standard if I'm not happy.
It's not that I don't like the look on the standard can, I do and wanted to leave it standard, but after getting the two dents it really bugged me. I felt the material was a bit thin to dent that way from a couple of stones most likely. Anyway I want a bolt off bolt on swop that is a bit smaller so I can get in and clean the wheel and shock with my chubby little hands.
Fabian I'm not sure about a sound recording, there are so many factors and variables affecting this and how true the end result will be is a guess, but I'll sure give it a try. Planning fitting for Saturday.
I actually like the look of the standard can, and because Neville's price is very affordable , I initially thought that I will definitely go for a standard can mod once the bike's guarantee has expired.
Having said that, although I haven't had any problems with the standard can yet, I think I will rather wait and see what the quality of the outer pipes are like, before I go for a standard can mod.

Hi Bryan and Danie. No I know your name to E. I also like the looks of the standard can just wish it was a bit louder. I did a mod on my VFR with the standard cans and i remember that the material that was used on the cans was very thin. I'll wait for your pics Brian. Allot of the custom cans available look like they sit a bit high........we need to take the panniers into consideration on the integras.....just something to think about when you do go in for the fitting.
It's a good thing that you and Krish are wide awake, because the thought never crossed my mind until Krish said to remember to fit the panniers when I come in. I would likely have painted myself into a corner. Then when all packed for the weekend I would find the pannier wouldn't fit and kick myself. It'a tough getting old. We do silly things like the other day I had some turning work going in the lathe went for a quick leak and a cold drink. 10 minutes later the wife comes into the workshop and asks why my micrometer is in the fridge. How about those mornings when you wake up and just cannot remember what day it is or when you were heading to Pinetown and find yourself halfway down the M7 in the opposite direction heading to work. And don't talk about those jobs when you can't get close enough to get the bifocals to read the micrometer and to close for the distance part to see the reading.
Bryan.... I think you might be in some serios need of relaxation . Even at my age I find myself doing silly things but it is usually when I have far to many things on my mind at once. I prefer the term ...Experienced......or .......WELL Matured...... People like us will never get old
ok I took the integra in for a service taday......the sump plug would have to be fitted with the next service...

I am very impressed with the professional level of service from Honda EL. Armand, the mechanic took care of by integra as if it was his own. All the staff where great. thanks
It's great to see that there are dealers there that take care about the way they work on the bikes. I've noticed subsequent to getting my bike back from the dealer that they don't seem to have the same work ethic here. E.g. When fitting the larger screen which I ordered at the time of purchasing the bike, they lost 1 washer that fits between the bolt and the screen. So 3 of the 4 washers are there. It's a small thing that tells me a lot about the work ethic. Also, when installing the heated grips the set the grip on the throttle so that the wiring is right in front of the starter switch. I interpret that as either an inexperienced technician or a "don't care" attitude. Remember that I was happy to pay the high Honda prices to support them and keep use genuine accessories. We should possibly start a thread in rating dealer service and overall experience. From what I am seeing in some of the posts, it may be a plan to do a road trip down to the coast whenever I need to drop my NC in for any attention at a dealer.
I think its a no care attitude and you will probably find the boss of the place has the same attitude. Its those small things that makes or brakes the service........
I'm with you there Fabian, it's definately part of the leadership culture that cascades from the top. It's like when I had the problem with Honda Pinetown and took it to the Dealer Principal, his responce was, thats the way they do things there. I can see the same attitude throughout the dealership. Then I moved my business to Umhlanga Honda and when I sent an e-mail to the Dealer Principal, he personally responded in 10 minutes, and passed it to the Service Manager who sorted out my problem within 20 minutes.
