Guess I now need to visit my local exhaust guy, he is pretty good and reasonable as well. Don't want too much noise just a bit more than standard.
Hi Brian
I am also aware of a local guy who is very professional, and I've got a feeling that you've probable referred to the same guy ? - he used to fabricate aftermarket motorcycle exhausts somewhere down the Umbilo- or Gale Street area, and later moved to Montclair Motorcycles in Montclair. This guy has fabricated an excellent exhaust system for my GPZ1100. I can't remember his brand name at the moment - my Gpz is at work at the moment, and I can check the brand name on Monday.

I think you are talking about Neville. I went to see him a while back with my cruiser but he was very busy and just never got to get going on it. Neville is very good but I was in a hurry so I ended up going to see Crish at Power Flow there in Bluff Rd. He has done a few cans for me over the years and did the cruiser. It's a great job. I'll show you photo of the standard that came off and the one Crish made.
Yep, Nevile fabricated an excellent dual exhaust system for my GPZ, and the cans are still in my possession.
I often wonder whether the cans could be modified to suit my NCX , but I decided to wait until the guarantee on the X has expanded, and then get hold of Neville again.....maybe he might be able to do a modification, and fit the cans on both sides of the bike.
I assume Neville can be contacted at Montclair Motorcycles - which has moved to the Jacobs area some time ago ?

I think he is quite capable of doing anything on demand. The fact that he seems to be working from home might make things very affordable, but he obviously needs to be contacted in this regard.

My Scoot is nearly dew for its first service and I made sure with Honda that they have all the spares. I made the booking for Monday but I might delay until the magnetic sump plug arrives. I got a quote and the estimate including both oil filters and all the other goodies came to R850. I must say that the Dealers here in East London are very reasonable with prices. Their service is also excellent. I will post a detailed costing once the service is done.
Finally got hold of Neville. A friend bumped into him at Umpleby Suzuki on Saturday. He said he had moved the Bluff and gave the following number. 0611279875. This number looks strange to me but I have not tried it. I went to see Krish at Powerflow and he is making a can for my Integra. Should be fitted next Saturday if all goes to plan.
