I have one of these on my bike and am pretty happy with it. Its not huge, but mounts straight on within minutes and takes a lot of wind pressure off your body on longer faster rides. Buffeting will depend on the riders height, type of helmet etc etc
Ecorider, I have heard that the brake fluid reservoir clashes with the Givi / Kappa screen at full turn. Can you confirm that? I am also thinking of getting it but want to clear the myth first.
Also, is it easy to install? Are the holes pre-drilled and lined up?
I never realized that anything clashes with the Kappa screens, but I've just had a close look - the brake reservoir on my NCX definitely does not touch the screen . The upper throttle cable do touch very slightly when the steering handles get turned to the far left though. I don't see this as a problem, and it will not bother me.
Should some reservoirs do touch some Kappa screens out there, I think it means that the clamps which hold the reservoirs and brake levers have been tightened at different positions at the factory. To my mind there is nothing wrong with the Kappa screens , and I am happy with mine.
The Kappa screens are very easy to install. The holes are pre-drilled, and I've installed mine in less than 5 minutes.

Thanks for the feedback. I really like the look of the Givi/Kappa screen cos its simple lines. There are some guys here in PTA (war eagle) who make them too and want to weight up my options... Better control in buffeting? Head turbulence? Fuel consumption affected/improved? How much did it set you back? Sorry for all the questions...
Unfortunately I cant remember the price of my Kappa screen - I do remember that it was much cheaper than the Honda high screens though.
When I took my NCX for the first service it was parked next to another NCX with a Honda high screen at the Agents - I've had a close look at both screens, and noticed that the Honda screen is slightly taller. But the top end of the Kappa screens has a slight curve, which deflects the air upwards. The Honda screens do not have that curve at the top, so I am not sure which of the two screens will be the most effective.
As far as the Kappa and wind buffeting is concerned - it does make a huge difference - specially below the helmet area. There is still some turbulence at the helmet though - but a lot less than riding with a standard (short) screen.
I've never compared any before / after fuel consumption figures, but I don't think high screens will make a big difference. If any, I have a feeling that fuel consumption might be worse without a high screen. Riding at higher speed, the chest area obviously absorb the wind buffeting - and leaning forward into the wind might make things even worse. Who knows - the smooth surface area at the high screens might deflect air flow a lot better than a chest....
Thanks for the feedback again. The Honda one will set me back +/- R1900 but comes with the supporting bracket which makes the screen mount hugher and stronger. Most of the aftermarket ones make use of the original fixing holes so more "flex" from the head-wind is expected.
Glad to know that the Givi/Kappa one works for you. Have tried to contact Advrider but no one answered yet. Will keep trying.
I have the Honda extended screen, and yes, I can confirm that the Brake Fluid Reservoir does bump the screen when you take a sharp turn to the left... but I seldom turn that far, only when I'm parking...

Quite interesting.........these are pics to prove that my Kappa screen does not touch the brake fluid reservoir:
The only component which do touch very slightly , is the upper throttle cable:
The gap between the screen and the reservoir is about 5mm, when the handles get turned to the far left:
(Sorry about the long grass - my garden man is a bit at the moment, and the grass has not been cut during the previous weekend )
