I also tried but eventually got through and was explained that they don't work on certain days apparently. Try emailing them, pretty efficient actually. I got my answer quite swiftly via email and the anticipated delivery cost is reasonable too.
I phone at different times during the day. And left an sms and Email. They are actually quite efficient once you get hold of them. Got a tracking number today. Courier to Pretoria R80
I got my Kappa today. Had to install it at work, as it was to big to take home on the bike.
Here are a few quick photos of it installed. I must say it looks pretty big. And the photos make it look even bigger. Will have a feel for it on the way home and report back tomorrow.
I work at the Reserve Bank in PTA. We are rather lucky to have under roof parking and security sitting next to the bikes. So you can leave your jacket and helmet on the bike.
WOW!! What an improvement. One does not realise just how much you are hanging on to the handlebars till you don't have the wind pushing you back in the seat any more.
I am 189cm tall and the wind does not touch my Helmet. I sat up a bit and made myself 3-5cm taller and then I could feel the wind hitting the helmet. The Screen is currently bolted to the high setting. I think if I put it on the lower setting I will still be fine, but it will be close.
The Screen also does not cause turbulence that shakes your head or body behind it.
As for the noise level. I am not sure. I think it is a little quieter, but not sure. It is not the constant wind noise, but more a sound every second as some wind hits the helmet. But not the direct stream of wind.
I would definitely recommend the Kappa if you don't mind a much taller screen. I have to say, I am almost used to the look already. Well Definitely wont take it off to put the old screen back on.
I have never bought taller screens on any of my previous bikes. But it is well worth it. Riding on the Highway is a lot more comfortable now.
