2015 OEM Exhaust to be replaced with 2017 OEM Exhaust

I do not like the round exhaust on my 2015 NC750X

After looking around for quite some time, I found a standard 2017 exhaust that was removed when the owner fitted a performance pipe.

I am now very impatiently waiting for the exhaust to arrive by courier so it can be fitted to my bike 

Has anyone done this and did the exhaust sound change for the better?

I saw your post in the international forum, interesting that there were mostly comments saying that the newer stock exhaust was too loud. ?Really?

Yes, I think they over exaggerate a bit as I have never heard of an owner with a 2016 + model that complains about too much noise

I changed my 2015 as it was a mere whimper that came from the pipe - now it growls!

Just fitted the exhaust
It has a nice growl now and the profile of the bike looks narrower as well

I am not one for lots of chrome, so the black and greyish colours of this exhaust blend in nicely with the rest of the bike

Now you need to get rid of that ugly tail-light / fender arrangement!

The tail tidy is on the to-do-list (I have read somewhere that some people were not happy with the quality of the tail tidy that they bought of amazon)

There are a lot of unnecessary plastics sticking out of the rear
