Knee pads are really only useful when slamming a racebike into a corner and you use your core/knees to grip the tank. (Brand name Stompgrip comes to mind).
Can't see much advantage on an NC type bike, except maybe to protect the side of the "tank" from scratches?
Hi. My need for the knee pads is because of the pearl white matt pain scheme. I battle to clean it, it is permanently stained a brownish colour where my knees rub on the tank.
If anyone has magic muti to clean this pain(t) job, please let me know

One of the Meguiars paint renew products would probably get it back to original.
Then you buy the transluscent Stomgrip pads so that you can maintain the bike's colour scheme and not hide it behind a differently coloured tank side pad.
Hi. Rubbatech wont supply directly, they don't want to step on the toes of the distributors, we have to order from Flying Brick. I think Woema in PTA might sell them.
Hi No prices yet, as a comparison I paid the following for my GS800 last year. Knee Pads: R550 Tank pad : R300 and R60 for courier Very reasonably priced. For once this is a local product.

From Flying Brick or Woema? Would like a tank pad and very happy to support local.
Hi. I think it is best to wait for lockdown to end. Woema seems to have taken most of their site down, they are in PTA so local for us. Perhaps give them a call first to see if they even have stock. Otherwise order from Flying Brick in CT and pay the courier fee.
