As mentioned at the "Group Import" thread, I have ordered a center stand from Bikegear, and the center stand has already been delivered two days ago.
The center stand is a SW Motech (made in Germany) product, and clearly of excellent quality.
I have just had a look at SW Motech's website, and according to their price list (and latest exchange rate) the price difference between a private center stand import - compared to buying locally from Bikegear is only R7.98. (Bikegear's price is R7.98 more expensive)
I obviously also had to pay the postage fee from PE to Durban, but to my mind it definitely make sense rather to support the local importers as far as possible, rather than importing privately.
I also found Bikegear's service highly professional, and hope to support them in future again.

I agree with you 100% E......Bikegear has really got a wide variety of items...I would like to try the HID headlight kit and a Sena bluetooth set......The prices are very similar to those of international suppliers. Then there is still the SARS costs on international orders that we mustn't forget about when we order from abroad
Protect your radiator against the elements with a radiator guard for only R450 (add R50 if you'd like for us to install it for you) instead of replacing your entire Radiator worth R7000.
