I've done quite a lot of commuting on a scooter before and just love the idea of not having to change gears in traffic. when i saw the DCT I was sold in no time. I've done about 650 km in a week and a half since taking deliver last Monday. I love the bike. In my family, we call it the smile generator. Honda have had DCT technology for over 4 years already, so, i trust the gearbox will last. I prefer the way the "bike handles and feels" vs the "scooter which seemed a lot less like a motorbike" (if that makes sense) either way, i don't think you can go wrong. My only gripe is the lack of top-box and or panniers for a bike that is mostly a commuter. But one day there will be stock.....
The one I drove has the Traveller package which is honda top box and panniers. Im thinking its going to be the one. Otr It looks like you could be the only Integra owner or are there more. Just wondering if it would be as good as the X.....Yea Eco I agree with the practicality thing. I would not call this bike fugly........once you see it with panniers and top box it looks allot like a tourer and I like tourers. If you take in consideration that the integra comes standard with a high screen and a centre stand, which will cost you an additional 6k on the X , Its a bargain. And most of the dealers can throw a few grand on the integra which brings it in line with the dct X.
now now now......... ;D once again I MIght!!!!! have changed my mind ................................the Integra is back on my list......Traffic is getting more and more each day so i think the " scooter " is a good choice.......who knows.....I might just change my mind again
Hi I've been searching maxi scooters as I'm looking at getting one. It looks like I've narrowed it down to 2, The NC700 integra traveller or the Suzuki Burgman 650. I must say I'm leaning more towards the Burgman because for a extra 10k you get the heated seats and grips, more under seat space, electrically adjustable windscreen, electrically fold in mirrors and a DC power point to change your phone or for your GPS navigation. Basically you get everything the BMW 650 scooter has for 30k less and a hole lot more than what the NC 700 offers for an extra 10k. Any comments on the Burgman?
