Hello, my name is Jaco and I'm the proud owner of a NC700X - Red.
I took delivery of my NC on 21/01/2012 from Honda Tygerberg - Bellville (pic). I was told that I'm the first customer taking delivery of a NC at that branch.
Although I do commute with my bike, I actually bought it for longer trips. I did a couple of 250km breakfast runs already and more than one trip to Worcester, which is also a 220km round trip distance. My bike is happy to ride at speeds of 130 - 140km/h and give me a constant fuel consumption of 25.5km/l at those speeds.
A friend of mine own a Honda Fireblade and took my bike through Helshoogte on its limits and got 170km/h out of the bike on a top-end run. He gave me the best review one could get, saying that for the price of this bike, NC700X, he can't belief how solid and smooth the bike feel up to it's top end. According to him it's also rock solid through corners. Considering what he ride, that is awesome. I can vouch for this as well.
Before I bought my NCX I also visited other bike dealers (other brands) to see what other bikes can be compared with the NC700's.
One salesman did not even bother to sell me any of their products - he told me straight away that there are no other brands which can be compared with NC700's in the country , and that the NC700's offer excellent value for money.

Thank you EcoRider, I stumbled across this forum by accident, but I'm so glad I did. And yes, I think a lot of people (bikers) are still missing the hidden talents of this bike - Honda NC700X.
Mmmmm, I think my bike is still very stiff, only having 3550km's on the clock. I hope that it will improve on the figures as I put km's on, but I must say, I'm very happy with my bike and wouldn't trade it for anything.
