I currently own a Twister and in the process of buying a NC700x. I've been looking since the beginning of the year and it seems as the winter approaches and people are riding less the prices of the NC's are starting to drop - to my benefit
I'm looking at a 2013 model (black) with 21000 km's on the clock. Just need some advice on things I need to look out for? Any advice will be much appreciated.
At 21000k's, only things I can think of to check are tyre, chain and brakepad condition. Next service is at 24k - big $$ one. Maybe look for one with less km's of one with the 24k service already done.
All the above are just potential items that might be unexpected expenses in the near future - depending on how many km's you plan to ride. But nothing that is going to cause breakdowns or other problems. If you like it, happy with the price, BUY IT !! Other brands with the same km's will probably cost more on maintenance.
Henkt, I think you can't go wrong with that price.
With 21 000 km on the clock, it might make sense to have a good look at the condition of the air filter as well. It might still be in good condition though.
Looking forward to hear from you.

Had a look and short test ride. Coming from the Twister the 700 is amazing. What bugs me though is that when turning something doesn't feel right. There is also a dent on the radiator not RHS which makes me think that there is more to the 'great' price that meets the eye. So I will keep on looking Definitely getting one
Henk there are plenty of other NC's around maybe tad more on the price but maybe a better buy in the long run. As for km these machines are bullet proof i posted a video the other day of a NC with 200k on the clocks owner services the bike himself at 130k he had to replace the water pump thats that, usual maintenance such as chains and sprockets is a given.
Hope you find a nice bike soon...keep us posted please.
Going to look at a 2013 model with 6000km tonight so hold thumbs
Just want to ask so long - preparing for mods.
I'm going to need brackets for a topbox - where to get and how much will it cost? I've looked at the pricelist from bikegear but i can't make out what I would need.
