Greeting all. Another noobie to the bikers club. I in fact bought my NC700 DCT in August last year. Long story, but after buying a bike for my nephew I got caught up in maelstrom and ended up getting a learners license at my tender young age (past the 50 mark). This meant one has to have a bike and I was introduced to Honda's NC. Bought a black one from Helena - yea another "woesrander" and was up and riding within the hour. Last thing ever on my bucket list and had NEVER been on a bike before. Boy - am I only enjoying the ride!! Should have done this years ago. I work from home, so don't have the commute issue, but use "KIT" whenever I can. Always arrive at meetings with a smile on my face. Not so when using the gas guzzler.
Have been on quite a few rides over time and would definitely be interested in joining up with any rides the forum has going.
James!! Also riding around the West Rand and also got my DCT from Helena. Super Chick That.
Would love to see you on a run sometime so keep an on the forum.
One is never to young to start and I do believe being older does make one wiser. That and the fact that you don't bounce as easy when you fall, takes the windgat out the equation, so you can focus more on what is important when riding, rather than - Hou vas my dop en check die move! .
