I've been enjoying this form as a guest for about 2 weeks now while awaiting my integra and now that it has finally arrived today. I felt it was the right time to register on this forum and enjoy it more. Thank you all for making it a great information hub for people with NC 700/750. Glad to be in it now.
Nice choice. I hope you will enjoy the Integra as much as I do. Tell us a little about yourself and some pics would be nice too. I've done around 14,000km on mine now and just put on the new licence the begining of this month. I've been secretly thinking about a 750 Integra and watching the local dealer but he still has one or two 700's on the floor so is not keen to bring in a 750 just yet. Anyway my plan is sunk now because some filth stole my Taz on the 3rd May and I will need to replace this so there goes all the savings. Even though it was insured, it's still a big loss to me because it was a 2004 and had only done 39,000km so I get so much less than what it was worth to me. Take care, ride safe.
I've been riding for the CMA for some time now and my last motorcycle was a Kawasaki Vulcan 2000cc LT. It is a great bike, but not for how I needed to ride the past 6 months before I sold it. I do some marshaling as a Think Bike marshal at events and to ride a 350kg bike at 10 kmph some times is not that lekker I can tell you out of experience. So I've been looking at some maxi scooters and was just not that impressed by big names, but then I read about the Honda Integra and I was excited. The funny thing is I got the Integra, I've got now from the internet at Cayenne at Kyalami and not knowing how it will fit my 1,98 m long and 130 kg body. Well, I can say with a smile know I fit on it and the bike goes with my weight and the misses on it to. It's a Maroon color and will have some pic's as soon as I can give it a proper wash for a photo shoot I would like to ad a top box to the Integra and some oxford heated grips. Thank you for the welcomes.
- buy the Oxford grips from Trac Mac online store and collect in Bellville - they have a great special at present for about R875 a set (Oxford Premium Tour/Adventure/Sport) and they work VERY well - I have a set on my NC750X-DCT. They feature intellipower which stops it from draining your battery if your forget to turn them off.
That's good advice, I have the Oxfords on my Integra as well as my CBF1000FA and I have used them on previous bikes as well. In fact I won't be without them. I'm not ashamed to admit I use the heat in the mornings to work here in Durban. This morning, when I left home at 06:00 it was 9c and that's pretty cold for me. I also have the red Integra, but I bought the Traveller, so it came with the Honda hard luggage. I had mine lowered with longer links at the back and pushed the forks through the clamps by 10mm. I'm short, and still don't get enough foot down to feel comfortable, but I manage. Then besides the grips, I have a hugger and some badges. I've owned the Kymco 500, and a Burgman 650, so far the Integra is my favorite. Be safe.
