hi all,
i am new to the forum and I hope this is posted in the correct way, otherwise pleas advise. i need some advice please; I can get a 2017 NC750DCT stock standard with 8200km on the clock for R95000. According to the owner it has only been used for outrides since March 2017. Has only had 1000km service done by Honda so far. Is this a good deal? Please tell me what you think. Tx BB
PS: for those who don't know; the Black Bomber is not a terrorist, but a CB450 circa early seventies. I'll post a pic sometime
From what I can see they go for R117500 new. Seems like a good buy then. Warranty etc. NC's last long 👍 and Can do everything a "normal" bike can do Commuting, touring, some off-road... Great all rounder bike
Suppose it depends on what you want to pay in the first place. You can buy an older model for less without worry. These things last forever. I'm just short of 70k and have not had a single failure apart from disk pads and tyres. So, if that is not your price range, keep looking. There should be a few available because they are very popular. to the forum. And as Ryc said, they are great allrounders - mine's been to the Vic Falls. They are easy to ride in town and great on the open road. Fuel consumption is also unrivalled at better than 30km/l in town.
Hi Blackbomber. You'd be saving over R10 000 buying this bike instead of new, so if you have the money, go for it. It's true that you may find and older model with low km for less and you could spend the difference on accessories. Really up to personal preference and available funds.
